Plastic Tanks

  • Usually the cheapest option
  • Made of UV Stabilised polyethylene
  • In a full range of both round and slimline tanks, in a variety of colours
  • 10 year pro-rata warranty on slimlines, 25 year pro-rata on round tanks
  • Over long periods of sun exposure, the plastic is expected to perish to some degree, making it unrecyclable and weakened.

Steel Tanks

  • Come in a wider variety of tanks, including taller tanks, and slimlines up to twice as big as those available in plastic. Custom tanks are also available in periods when demand is low enough.
  • Made of galvanised steel with an aqua-plated base.
  • 15 year pro-rata warranty on slimlines, 25 year pro-rata on round tanks
  • Again over long periods of time, with wear and tear and moisture, the tank is expected to deteriorate to some degree, making it unrecyclable and weakened.

Stainless Steel Tanks

  • A smaller product offering in stainless steel, mainly focussing on larger capacity tanks. For example 5 meter long slimline tanks that fit down the side of a property, and 40,000 litre round tanks
  • Made from spot welded stainless steel
  • 25 year pro-rata warranty on all tanks
  • Projected life span is 40-50years, with the stainless steel remaining strong over long periods of time and always recyclable.
